Snow of Yesterday

Two days ago it was -4°C/28°F, today we had a balmy 11°C/52°F and almost all of the snow had melted. At least on the roads and bike paths, and that was good enough for me.

    Hello Suzanne

your photos with a focus on lines are magical! The problems we had that have prevented us from straying too far have been sorted. We’ve hired a manager and he starts in May….give him 12 months and we should be free to venture beyond the shores of Australia…. we plan on seeing more of Germany; maybe more than one or two white swans. Did you know that the swans in Australia are black?

    Cheers

It’s been in the 70s (f) here in San Rafael. The sun is actually hot. Unheard of for Feb.

    Suzanne,

The other day it was 57f when we got home from work. Un believable. And a couple of nights ago on the news they showed ships breaking up as the Danube thaws. To think that we had to turn around for lack of water on our Danube cruise. So what kind of a bike ride will we have this summer in terms of weather>? Who knows?

We’re having very strange (but nice) weather here on Long Island, NY too! It was 60F yesterday. I’ve been cycling and hiking often all through winter.

Last winter was totally different with huge piles of snow everywhere, and bitter cold temperatures. I chose the right year to retire! Carpe Diem!
