We’ve been here five days already. The time goes so fast. This visit we’re much more active than in previous years. I think it’s the grandchildren who keep us on our toes, and that’s not bad. The weather hasn’t been good enough for swimming but we’ve been walking, playing games, taking pictures, drawing, visiting with friends in and around town, shopping at the Saturday market in Revel. Those are the ingredients of holidays here with Gwen and Jerry. Gwen and I get time to shop and cook, sip wine and talk in spite of the hubbub around us. Janos’s English improves every year, he has no choice. Miriam and Marlene get to practice English with an English friend their own age and with Gwen and Jerry of course. I’m amazed how good they are and not at all shy about speaking.
